Who uses Custom Printed Wall Calendars?

A wall calendar can do three useful jobs: keep a business visible all year, become merchandise people will buy, or help an organisation raise funds. That makes the same A3 or A4 format useful to a surprisingly wide range of customers.

Business & Promotional Calendars

For trades, construction, engineering, transport, vehicle businesses, professional services and local companies giving customers or staff a useful branded calendar that stays visible throughout the year.

Charities, Churches, Primary Schools, PTAs & Clubs

Turn supporter photographs, local scenes, pupils’ colourful artwork, class projects, school events, teams or heritage images into calendars to sell to families, supporters and local communities. Ideal for primary-school and PTA fundraising: start from 20 copies, then reorder if demand grows.

Agriculture, Motorsport & Sports

A3 works especially well for tractors, livestock, machinery, road racing, motorcycles, cars, teams and sponsors — strong monthly imagery with plenty of room for branding.

Photographers, Artists & Visitor Attractions

Turn a strong image collection into a retail calendar for galleries, museums, heritage attractions, craft fairs and online shops. The same image library can also become A6 & Square Postcards.

Promotion, retail or fundraising: choose the audience first, then build the 12 monthly images around what they will actually want to keep, display or buy.

** UK — 1 x 30kg box ONLY. SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS, ISLANDS & EUROPE WILL INCUR A SMALL SURCHARGE.

A: Choose A4 — 210 × 297mm or the larger A3 — 297 × 420mm. A4 is a compact choice for offices, kitchens and customer gifts, while A3 gives photographs, artwork, branding and monthly dates more visual impact from across a room.

A: The minimum order is 20 calendars. Available quantities are 20, 30, 40, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400 and 500, giving businesses, charities, clubs, photographers and artists a practical short-run starting point before moving to larger quantities.

A: Standard 13-sheet calendars on 170gsm Silk Artpaper start from £60 + VAT for 20 A4 calendars and £100 + VAT for 20 A3 calendars. The final price depends on size, quantity, paper or card stock, backing board and turnaround options selected in the online Price Calculator.

A: The standard calendar has 13 single-sided sheets: one front cover followed by a separate page for each month from January to December. This gives every month its own full printed face for photography, artwork, branding and the calendar grid.

A: Yes. The standard 13-sheet calendar is printed Full Colour on one side of every sheet, making it suitable for photographs, illustrations, sponsor logos, business branding and strong monthly imagery.

A: The standard specification uses 170gsm Silk Artpaper throughout all 13 sheets. It gives good colour reproduction with a smooth coated surface and a practical page-turning weight for a professional wall calendar.

A: Yes. Choose the 250gsm Silk Artboard option to upgrade all 13 sheets, not just the cover. It creates a noticeably heavier, more substantial calendar for premium corporate gifts, photography, artist editions, fundraising merchandise and retail sale.

A: A Strawboard backing board adds extra support behind the calendar when it is hanging. It is optional rather than standard. The current upgrade is priced per calendar in the Price Calculator, so you can compare the standard version and backed version before ordering.

A: The calendars are professionally Wiro-bound and thumb-cut for wall hanging. They are printed in Northern Ireland and the specialist Wiro finishing is completed locally in Belfast. Use the Price Calculator to choose from the available calendar hanging and binding-colour options.

A: Choose from the binding colour and calendar hanging options currently shown in the Price Calculator. Availability is displayed with the product configuration, so the selected finishing can be priced with the rest of the calendar before checkout.

A: Choose STANDARD 5–6 Working Days for the normal service. Working days are Monday to Friday and exclude public holidays. Artwork must be ready and approved before production can proceed, so allow extra time if design work or corrections are still required.

A: Yes. Select EXPRESS 3–4 Working Days in the Price Calculator when you need a faster service. The Express option adds 60% to the standard base calendar price for the selected size and quantity. Order as early as possible for events or fixed deadlines.

A: Free standard delivery covers one parcel up to 30kg to Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Scottish Highlands and islands and some other extended or export destinations carry a surcharge. Very large calendar orders may require more than one parcel, so additional carriage can apply where the free parcel allowance is exceeded.

A: Yes. Send us 13 suitable images plus your logo and, for £30 + VAT, we can build your calendar using our prepared monthly templates. The templates use large, bold dates designed to remain easy to read from across a room.

A: The standard calendar has a front cover plus 12 monthly pages, so 13 images lets you use one main image on every printed sheet. You can reuse an image if you prefer, but sending a complete set gives the strongest visual variety across the year.

A: Yes. Business names, logos, websites, telephone numbers and other useful contact details can be incorporated into the supplied artwork or design brief. Keep recurring branding consistent and avoid making it compete with the dates or main monthly image.

A: Yes, provided you have permission to reproduce them. Sports clubs, charities, events and community organisations can include sponsor or partner branding on the cover, selected months or throughout the calendar. Supply good-quality logo files and make clear where each logo should appear.

A: Yes. Upload a print-ready PDF and there is no £30 design charge. Prepare the file at the correct A4 or A3 finished size, include 3mm bleed where artwork runs to the edge, and keep important dates, logos and text safely clear of the trim, Wiro binding and hanging area. See our Artwork Guide for general artwork help.

A: Add 3mm bleed on every edge wherever a photograph, colour or background is intended to print to the trim. Keep the calendar grid, important captions, logos and other essential information comfortably inside the finished size and away from the Wiro binding and hanging area.

A: Use the highest-quality original photographs or artwork available and check them at the size they will actually be printed. Large A3 calendar images expose soft focus, compression and low resolution more readily than small online images. Avoid screenshots or images downloaded from social media when the original file is available.

A: Often yes, particularly from a modern phone, but the original file must still be sharp enough after cropping and enlargement. Send the original high-resolution image rather than a messaging-app copy, screenshot or social-media download, as those may have been resized or compressed.

A: Usually yes, but the layouts should still be checked at each finished size. A crop that works at A4 may need slight adjustment at A3, especially where faces, vehicle details, text or other important elements sit close to the edge or binding area.

A: Calendar dates are critical, so the final artwork should always be proof-read before approval. Check month names, day/date alignment, leap-year dates where relevant, public or bank holidays, event dates, captions, sponsor names and contact details. If you supply print-ready artwork, make these checks before uploading it.

A: They can be included in the artwork, but make sure the calendar is prepared for the market you intend to serve. Public and bank holidays are not identical across England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, so identify the required region and check every listed date carefully before approving the calendar.

A: You can reuse photographs, logos and much of the visual design, but the calendar grids and dates must be rebuilt or updated for the new year. Never simply change the year number on old artwork. Check every month, weekday alignment and any public holidays before the new version goes to print.

A: Yes. Promotional calendars keep your company name, contact details and imagery visible for up to 12 months in offices, workshops, kitchens, receptions and customer premises. They work particularly well for trades, construction, engineering, vehicle businesses, transport companies, professional services and other organisations with strong photography or projects to showcase.

A: Only if you have the necessary permission or licence to reproduce them. Owning a physical photograph or receiving an image from someone does not automatically transfer copyright. This is particularly important for professional photography, historic collections, artwork, sponsor logos and images intended for calendars that will be sold.

A: Yes. A calendar can turn photographs, local scenes, projects, members, heritage material or annual highlights into fundraising merchandise. Start from 20 copies if you want to test demand, then move to a larger quantity if the calendar sells well. Set your retail price to cover printing, selling costs and the contribution you want each sale to make to your organisation.

A: Yes. Photographers and artists can turn a coherent set of images into a 12-month retail product for galleries, exhibitions, craft fairs, visitor attractions, online shops and direct sales. A4 is compact and easier to package, while A3 gives photographs and artwork more display impact.

A: Yes. Agriculture is particularly well suited to the larger A3 format because tractors, livestock, machinery, contracting work, rural landscapes and seasonal farming create strong monthly imagery. The calendar also keeps the supplier, contractor or dealer branding visible in farm offices, workshops and yards throughout the year.

A: Yes. Use race photography, team members, vehicles, fixtures, historic images, sponsors and season highlights to create calendars for supporters. Clubs can use them as merchandise, sponsor gifts or fundraising products, while the short-run 20-copy minimum allows a cautious first order.

A: Yes. Historic buildings, landscapes, aircraft, railway scenes, wildlife, archive photographs, museum objects and exhibition imagery can all form a strong 12-month calendar. This also pairs naturally with a postcard range using selected images from the same collection.

A: Yes. The 20-copy minimum is useful for photographers, charities, clubs, small businesses and new fundraising ideas where you want to test demand without holding a large amount of stock. Keep your final approved artwork safe so a repeat order can be produced more easily.

A: Choose A4 when compact size, lower entry cost and easier packaging matter most. Choose A3 when the photographs, artwork, vehicles, landscapes or branding are the main attraction and you want the dates and imagery to have more impact on the wall.

A: Yes. QR codes, websites and social details can be added to the cover or monthly pages as part of your artwork. Keep them clear of the trim and binding area, maintain strong contrast, and test QR codes at their actual printed size before approving the final file.

A: The calendars are printed in Northern Ireland and the specialist Wiro binding and thumb-cut finishing is completed locally in Belfast. TradePrintingUK then supplies finished calendars to customers throughout Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

2027 business & promotional wall calendars

A professionally printed wall calendar keeps your business name, photography and contact details visible for an entire year. Our A4 and A3 Wire-Bound Wall Calendars are designed for businesses that want something useful to give customers, staff, suppliers or trade contacts rather than another short-lived promotional item.

Use each month to feature a project, product, location, vehicle, member of staff, customer installation or seasonal photograph. Keep your logo, telephone number, website or QR code in a consistent position so the calendar remains recognisably yours from January through December.

A4 Wall Calendars

A compact option for offices, homes, reception areas and customer giveaways.

A3 Wall Calendars

A larger display size where photography, machinery, vehicles or branding deserve more impact.

20–500 copies

Start with a controlled short run, then scale established annual calendars to larger quantities.

Fundraising calendars for charities, churches, societies & community groups

A fundraising calendar gives supporters something practical in return for their contribution. Charities, churches, heritage organisations, membership societies, animal rescues and community groups can build a 12-month calendar from photographs of people, places, projects, events or archive material and sell it throughout the run-up to Christmas and New Year.

The 20-copy minimum keeps the first commitment manageable. If demand grows, quantities can move through 30, 40, 50, 75, 100 and on to 500 without changing the basic product format.

Heritage, aviation & membership society calendars

Museums, aviation societies, preservation groups and membership organisations can use archive photographs, restoration projects, exhibits, volunteers and event highlights to create a calendar with real relevance for supporters. It becomes both a fundraising product and a record of the organisation’s work.

Make the calendar worth keeping

Use strong images first and treat fundraising as the reason to buy, not the only reason. A calendar that supporters genuinely want on the wall has a better chance of being displayed for the whole year — keeping the organisation visible long after the original sale.

Primary school & PTA fundraising calendars

A school calendar can turn pupils’ colourful drawings, class projects, seasonal artwork, school events or photographs of the school grounds into a practical product that families will enjoy throughout 2027. Each class or year group can contribute artwork, helping the finished calendar feel genuinely connected to the whole school community.

Primary schools and PTAs can sell calendars to parents, grandparents, staff and local supporters to raise money for equipment, activities, trips or improvement projects. The 20-copy minimum makes a first fundraising run manageable, with straightforward reordering if demand grows.

Build the calendar around pupils’ artwork

Choose one design for the front cover and 12 for the monthly pages, or combine several pieces into class montages. Add the school crest and PTA or school details consistently so the calendar feels professionally produced while retaining the character of the children’s original work.

Agricultural, farming & rural business calendars

Agriculture is a natural fit for the larger A3 Wall Calendar. Tractors, combines, contracting work, livestock, machinery, harvest scenes and rural landscapes provide strong monthly imagery, while the calendar remains useful in farm offices, workshops, depots, parts counters and kitchens.

Agricultural contractors, machinery dealers, feed suppliers, livestock businesses, haulage companies and rural service firms can keep their logo and contact details visible while using real photographs from their own work rather than generic stock imagery.

Motorsport, motorcycle & sports club calendars

Calendars also work particularly well for road racing teams, motorcycle clubs, car clubs, football, rugby, GAA and other sports organisations. Build the year around riders, players, vehicles, events, trophies, historic photographs or favourite moments from the previous season.

Sponsors can be acknowledged without overwhelming the photography. A consistent footer area for logos and contact details gives every sponsor repeat visibility while the main image still carries the emotional appeal of the calendar.

Photographer, artist & visitor attraction calendars

For photographers and artists, a calendar turns an existing image collection into a practical retail product. Landscape photography, wildlife, aviation, architecture, local scenery, heritage subjects, illustrations and paintings can each become a month, giving customers 12 images to enjoy rather than a single print.

Visitor centres, museums and heritage attractions can use the same approach with recognisable views, exhibits, archive photographs and seasonal scenes. This also sits naturally beside our A6 & Square Postcard Printing: the same photographic archive can become both a calendar and a postcard range.

Choose 170gsm Silk or upgrade all 13 sheets to 250gsm

Standard

170gsm Silk Artpaper throughout

Our standard wall calendar uses 170gsm Silk Artpaper on all 13 sheets. It gives photographs and graphics a smooth printed finish while keeping the finished calendar practical to hang and turn month by month.

250gsm Silk Artboard throughout

Upgrade every sheet to 250gsm Silk Artboard if you want a heavier, more substantial calendar for premium photography, retail sales, presentation or corporate gifts. This is an upgrade across all 13 sheets — not just the cover.

Optional Strawboard backing board

Add a Strawboard backing board when you want extra support behind the calendar. It is optional rather than compulsory, so you can keep the standard calendar lighter or build a more rigid version where the application justifies it.

Send 13 images + your logo — or upload print-ready artwork

You do not need to be a designer to produce a professional calendar. Send us 13 images plus your logo and, for £30 + VAT, we can build the calendar using our prepared monthly templates with large, bold dates designed to be readable from across the room.

  • Image 1: front cover.
  • Images 2–13: January through December — photographs, illustrations or pupils’ artwork.
  • Branding: supply your business logo, charity mark or school crest plus the contact details, website or message you want repeated.
  • Print-ready route: if you already have finished artwork, upload your PDF with no artwork set-up charge.

STANDARD or EXPRESS turnaround

STANDARD production is 5–6 Working Days. If the date matters, choose EXPRESS 3–4 Working Days in the Price Calculator. EXPRESS is priced as a +60% speed upgrade to the standard calendar price.

Prepare your A3 or A4 Wall Calendar artwork

Supply high-resolution photographs or illustrations and check every month at the final printed size. Allow space around important subjects and avoid placing essential text, faces or logos too close to the Wiro binding, thumb cut or trim edge.

  • A4 finished size: 210 × 297mm.
  • A3 finished size: 297 × 420mm.
  • Bleed: 3mm on every edge where photographs or backgrounds run to trim.
  • Colour: supply professional Full Colour artwork and use high-resolution images at their placed size.
  • Safe area: keep important dates, logos and text comfortably clear of the trim, Wiro binding and hanging area.
  • Proofing: check month names, dates, bank holidays, captions, sponsor names, phone numbers and web addresses before approval.
