How are carbonless NCR copies of the Requisition Slip used?

The Requisition Slip form must be signed by the foreman of the department or the works manager to ensure authenticity. It's also the store-keeper's responsibility to issue the quantity and quality of materials specified on the form.

The requesting person retains the top White copy of the Carbonless copies. The warehouse staff receives the middle Yellow copy. The bottom Pink copy accompanies the picked items to their destination. If items listed on the are not in stock, another copy may be sent to the Purchasing dept to follow up.

They create a perfect audit trail for the flow of items through a company, analysing if inventory items are being appropriately used, plus recorded properly for a company's materials handling' procedures.
