We have two different types, the first is our Starter Presentation Folder which are great for 50 - 200 copies, if you only need a relative few to get your started. Printed on a premium 350gsm Silk Artboard card, this oversized A4 printed Folder contains a single inner pocket glued into the inside right page and includes a pair of business card slits as part of the Presentation Folder's die-cut forme. We have options to either Matt Laminate or Gloss Laminate which adds an extra level of polish and you can be guaranteed that our Presentation Folder will fit perfectly in a standard C4 printed envelope (which Trade Printing UK can print for you as well!).

The other type of Presentation Folders that we produce is our longer-run litho-printed (big printing presses!) Deluxe Presentation Folders, again in oversize A4 format. With using the bigger printing presses we thus have a bigger sheet size to work with (compared to just SRA3 with the digital Starter Presentation Folders), meaning we can have two proper interlocking flaps (the job is supplied flat) utilising both a standard spine and an extra-capacity 5mm gusset spine when you need to incorporate more inserted pages of print or samples etc. for your clients. We also print these Presentation Folders on premium 350gsm Silk Artboard card and again you've got some premium options of either Matt lamination or Gloss lamination for that extra special, bespoke touch.

We have professional Adobe Illustrator Templates available (with the die-cut forme for the litho-based Deluxe Presentation Folders, so you can design (or let your professional graphic designer use it) to produce your professional artwork. What are the differences between the various types of Presentation Folders?

We have two types of Folder - the short-run, cheap Starter Presentation Folder range which are budget printed Folders with a single, glued-in Flap. They are printed Full Colour on a premium quality 350gsm Silk Artboard (other printing companies often print on a flimsy 300gsm board, which will not make your company look as up-market as with our superior Trade Printing UK product).

Our longer-run, Deluxe Presentation Folder range would be more suitable for quantities of 250 upwards and Trade Printing UK's competitive pricing is great highly competitive within the 250 to 5000 range and it is that printed Folder sector that we focus on.

Finishing options for both our cheap Starter Folders and premium full-colour Deluxe Folders

There are two separate options with our cheap Starter Folders range - unfinished 350gsm Silk Artboard, or gloriously luxury Matt Lamination (one or two sides) for that extra up-market touch.

With the premium full-colour Deluxe Folders, Trade Printing UK mostly use one of two types of shaped die-cut formes (both having gorgeously curved, vertical and horizontal interlocking flaps); we can then either laminate your A4 Custom-Printed Folder on one side (or two by request) with refined deluxe luxury of Matt Lamination, or with the in-your-face shine of Gloss Lamination. It's down to individual choice!

Things to bear in mind when designing artwork to print on Folder

With the cheap Starter Folder product, a large area of a single, solid dark colour doesn't really work that well on digital presses, although there are a few workarounds that can do an acceptable job of it by adding a subtle, virtually invisible "noise filter" over the solid dark colour of the Starter Folder.

On our bigger "Litho" presses that the Deluxe Folder product is created on, a solid flat colour is easier to produce due to more pressure on the press, however you may still run the slight risk of partial banding, thus realistically dark, flat solid areas of colour are still best to be avoided.

Don't forget to include your company's printed QR Code on your Printed Folder

As printed QR Codes are becoming more and more popular within the UK, lots of UK companies are now adding their printed QR Code to their artwork and stationery.
