What is a Risk Assessment?

A Risk Assessment is a comprehensive, printed form that guides you through the process of identifying potential risks, detailing hazards, and noting down actions needed.

This is an A4 sized, Carbonless NCR Pad or Book, custom-designed specifically for a company's needs.

When do you need a Risk Assessment Report?

Employers or the Self-Employed are required by law to conduct Risk Assessments where there is a risk of injury or danger to someone. This helps to manage the risks to your business.

A Hazard is considered to be anything that causes harm or threat to a person's physical or mental health from electricity, working at heights, chemicals and liquids, heavy machinery, moving machinery, sharp objects, surfaces, low-hanging objects, trip hazards etc.

A Risk is the high or low chance that a person could be harmed by the above hazards, combined with an indication of the threat level to that person.

What are the benefits of a Risk Assessment?

Improved Workplace safety: Proactive risk assessment reduces accidents, injuries, and associated costs.

Enhanced Health & Safety Compliance: Meet UK Health & Safety Executive (HSE) regulations with standardised Carbonless NCR forms.

Increased efficiency: Carbonless NCR copies streamline record-keeping and communication.

Improve a company's safety culture By visibly using Risk Assessment forms, you demonstrate to customers, clients, and visitors that you take their safety seriously. This builds trust and reinforces a positive perception of your organisation's commitment to well-being.

Professionalism: Personalised with your company logo and details for a branded look also project a commitment to Safety culture.

Identify and control hazards before they cause problems.

 Easy to use and understand.

What are the 5 steps to complete a Risk Assessment?

  Identify all hazards.

Decide who or what could be harmed, on what scale of harm, and how it would happen. Have all people who might be affected been considered?

Assess all "significant"* risks and take precautionary action, specifying timescale and completion date.

Record the findings and sensible, precautionary action required or undertaken.

Review the outcome and the Risk Assessment Report again, showing date of Updated Review and that any remaining risk is considered low.

*As a caveat, you DON'T need to include insignificant or every day risks.
