Duty of Care CONTROLLED WASTE TRANSFER NOTES custom trade printed on triplicate carbonless NCR Pads and Forms
To transfer waste legally within the UK since the end of 2011 the UK's UK Environment Agency compels all businesses but especially licensed waste operators to have a Waste Transfer Note (WTN), or a "Duty of Care Controlled Waste Transfer Note" and keep them securely on record for at least two calendar years. Everyone who handles the waste is now involved from the people or company who creates it to the company or local authority who finally recovers, disposes or recycles it in the end. Duty of Care Controlled Waste Transfer Notes were mainly created to stop illegal dumping and fly-tipping within England and Wales, although Scotland and Northern Ireland have separate waste transfer laws and guidelines. This means that it allows the UK government to regulate waste activity such as permitted transfer, treatment and storage facilities. This all may be replaced in the future by the Environment Agency's electronic "edoc" programme (in conjunction with Defra) although it is currently years away from being finalised or implemented.
Printed Triplicate 3-part NCR Pads for Duty of Care Controlled Waste Transfer Notes Templates
Trade Printing UK have different variants of their NCR Pads and NCR Books templates for Waste Transfer Notes, from the standard Duty of Care Controlled Waste Transfer Note to the other English legal types such as the "Conveyance Waste Transfer Note", "Hazardous Waste Consignment Note" (HWCN01) NCR pads (for every day items such as fluorescent tubes) and the all-in-one "Waste Transfer Note Invoice Delivery Pad". Each professional template is designed to handle a specific task and Duty of Care under the UK waste transfer regulations.
Most of these are designed to include a description of the type and be signed by both the waste creator and any company involved in either the disposal, carrier, broker or recycling in the process. These NCR forms are usually based on the WMC2A version of the UK government's Duty of Care: Waste Transfer Note from mid-2011 to encompass Regulation 12 of the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011. It also encompasses the new printed Code of Practice that has been proposed by Defra for their statutory guidance for the Waste Management - Duty of Care code of practice guidelines (ISBN 011753210X).
Any of Trade Printing UK's custom-printed variants of the Duty of Care Waste Transfer Notes can be printed either as loose, carbonless forms, or as
Waste Transfer Note NCR Pads. This will allow UK operators and brokers to easily record and transfer data and keep it securely via our range of printed NCR carbonless forms.
